It's time again to go get some Buisness cards made up. The last ones I did five different designs and that was ok but this time i'm going to try simple. It will be simple text with little clutter. The last ones were a bit hard to look at. Anyway what I need help with is which picture should I put on to display my work. I wanted some artists opinions on this since you guys know what your looking at. If you guys could spare the time to take a look and let me know your opinion that would be great, here is a link to my stuff. http://www.candcart.ca/airbrush_gallery.htm I do classes and private lessons as well as custom work on bikes, cars, jackets ect. Thanks a bunch guys and gals.:)

Thanks for the replys, I was hoping more people would actually reply so I can get a more varied opinion. That being said I really apreciate the time you took to check it all out and let me know what you thought. I was acually leaning this way too.:)

Hey Clinton. I am kinda leaning toward your skull with the fire.
Clinton,
Nice work on your site.. expected that, seen alot of your stuff before.
Question - will it be double sided??
I'd go with.. Flaming Skull on Front in the centre, with a thumbnail either side, maybe Wolverine or Superman on one side and Skull toilet seat on the other.
then on the back make it all greyscale all your contact details etc and your fav b/w pic.
hope that helps champ

clinton, here is my card, it's very simple, i didn't use any artwork on it because i'm constantly putting out new work and i don't want to keep changing my card when i create better works, i got 5000 double sided for $125

for when i want to show pictures, here is my brochure, it's a tri-fold glossy with high res images, i don't order such high quantity with these cuz i can change a photo easy without changing the entire image of the whole piece, i order from gotprint.com, fast and cheap

Clinton I think that the skeleton crawling out of the toilet would catch more people's attention w/ color in your logo. Both would contrast each other and both would just pop right off the card.....

Thank you all, think i'm going to go with card like Jason has. Makes more sence to either have a web addy on the card or a seprate flyer for showing your stuff, then the cards are never dated. Again thak you all.

That's what I did Clinton. It's kinda generic, so it relates to all sorts.
I really really really love that seat cover though.

I really really really love that seat cover though.
That thing is going to haunt me till i'm dead. LOL :) One of my easiest pieces but everybody loves it.
If you stop and think about it, some of the most remembered items are the simple ones. Detail on the simple shows a big difference.
As for easiest, you can say that and what is wrong with something everyone likes haunting you.
As you say, just my opinion,
Clem
