harley helmet....adding candy coat?

Guys i had a problem with my helmet with the base coat cracking and everyone helped me and i got that fixed. Now i did a skull on top of the helmet and im not liking it , i was thinking of adding some candy on it. I was going to add candy red and someone told me to add on top of that orange, now i have never did that so was wondering what type of orange and in what order? here is a pic.

I'd be tempted with the candy alone, not having done it I would imagine that if you use the orange, use it before the kandy, then the more kandy coats the more intense deeper the colour.

Dundas West when I need inspiration I take a picture get it printed out and play with the paint and ideas. I realize that paper of any kind is not exactly like the helmet but it always help me!

If you are going with the Kandy it would be better to use a yellow, then orange and then the red. If you use a red straight off the bat over the white, it'll be pink and it will take a lot to make it a true red.

haha see i aint losing my mind..it was aerhart that gave me that advice.....whew okay back on track again mind is good..memory okay....thristy though......yup a beer is in order.....lol
