The local hardware store has a remanufactured Campbell Hausfeld 3.2 Running HP, 60gal, 11.5CFM@40psi for $300 (299.99). Has a 1-year manufacture's warranty.
Has anybody had any experience with remanufactured tools before?
Thanks,
Matt

IMO, 3 things happen in compressor to go bad.. and if its a rebuilt AND the warranty is a year, AND its enough off a new, I would gladly take a chance.

if they are factory recons and are quility units in the first place then you will find they are as good as a new one ,a one year warrenty isnt bad for a compressor especialy a recon .
i dont think that model is available in the UK but recon items are usualy reserved for good quality products as the cheap chinese stuff is just throw away and no one recons crap
