Hi from across the pond. Thanks for the invite. I've been airbrushing for around 7 years now. Started off spraying motorbikes and lids and am now drifting into the collectors market for items like Pens and Lighters etc.

Spent the first years learning from the likes of Nobby (prob. the top custom painter in the UK back in the 80's to 90's), then went stateside to learn some techniques from Craig Fraser and Mike cacey, did a course with Dru Blair. Spent some years working in Italy working in probably one of the busiest airbrush studio in the world, working for such companies as Ducati, Malaguti scooters, Maserati, Ferrari, Zippo lighters, Colnago Bikes and loads of others. Met some unbelivablely talented artists out there including Alberto Ponno (Yes everything he does is 100% freehand without using any aids to help him)

The co-owner of the studio is now my beautiful Italian girlfriend and together we are starting to establish ourselves amongst the collectors world for the high quality airbrush art we are able to produce.

Cheers

John

Hi John,
I can't wait to see your work!
Welcome aboard.
That's still just incredible that Alberto Ponno does it all freehanded.
And, yes, Dru's work is incredible as is Michael Cacy...Michael's a great guy, isn't he?
