Ok, how do all your independant types deal with health insurance, or the lack of it??
I recently got notification for 'cobra' insurance, here in michigan... 475 bucks for a month (single). That's insane.
I'd like to explore alternatives for the self employed...
Ouch !!! When mine hit at $500 a month,,, had to
back out,,, I'll be 65 next month so I'm watchin
what I step in till then,,, then medicure kicks in !!!

Michigan doesn't pay jack for unemployment, so it's simply something i can't afford right now...would like to get something bare minimum for catastrophic situations. Lol, I've got a little while before medicare for me...lol....like 20 years.

well my wife has had the same part time job for the last 5years and i'm under her plan, but we still pay $500/month for me and her and two kids, sucks, we are gonna start looking for something for my self alone, cuz i'm the one that makes the rate high, my sister and her husband are self employed we're gonna see what they have

Keep me posted Jason...
I spoke to A.D. about this years ago, he and his wife belonged to some sort of group plan. I'm gonna write him and ask again.
