Right now I own an Iwata HP-C Plus. I really like it even though I have no real skill YET:) I am looking into buying 2 more airbrushes. One on either side of the HP-C Plus. I need one for base coats and wider area coverage with a bottom feed and I need one that does super fine lines that I don't have to be almost touching the canvas to get. For the fine lines I was thinking of a Micron with the air adjust built in. but not sure if there is a better combination or better priced items. Any inputs would be great! Thank you for your time.

For bottle feed then go with a
Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS.

And for detail. You could use a
HP-BH

or a HP-SB Plus.

Micron is fine. I happen to have like 7 or 8 of them now. On a job 75% of the work I use a Eclipse HP-CS. 20% I use a HP-CH and the last 5% is my Micron CM-C or CM-B.
You can change out the .3mm nozzle and needle on the HP-CH and put in a .2mm set up. This will give you more detail. But to be honest its the Airbrush them self. I can do real fine lines with the HP-CH...
Ponder,,, that HP C should give some pretty tight lines
as it is on detailing,, as well as general ABing,,,
you're going to have to get close with any brush for
those lil tight detail areas,, even the micron !!!
There's no easy way other than practice,,, till you
make it look easy,,, then it becomes easy:partyalone:
As far as the background brush,,, it depends on who's
doing the reccomendations and personal prefs as to
what's reccomended and may or may not be what
you're looking for,, so take all the advice and weigh
with what your needs are and air supply because
larger guns require larger supplies of air and more
ventelation requirements for airborne spray !!!
Good Luck on your decisions,, and Happy Sprayin !!!
