Has anyone used the "new and improved" candy pigment from AAC???
Sure looks and feels like the transparents to me and not like the older dye stuff.
Mix ratio is 3:1 without the use of the transparent base for the new stuff.
Sprayed over white, aluminium and black with the fire red candy pigment, did the same with the transparent red. Looks the same to me on the test panel.

dye based stuff isnt light fast anyway so the new stuff may well be transparent pigment based instead

dye looks great but doesnt last i did some work with ALSA true gold candy and it has faded badly within three weeks so even the so called quality stuff is suspect so maybe AA have been haveing fade issues and changed to pigment instead ,if that is the case then that may explain why you are getting the same results from the so called candy and the original transparents

if this is the case then buy the cheapest product, if one is cheaper than the other ?
