I plan to paint the front and back of a shirt. Do I want to paint and heat set one side totally before paint ing on the other? Or go ahead paint both sides then heat set? If I do one side at a time are there any precautions I need to follow to prevent damage to one or the other sides?

I use a heat gun for setting,,, but,,,
I usually do both sides then heat set
both while I'm using the heat gun !!!
You can do individually if you want tho !!!
Post your shirt:partyalone:

Hey Moose, Do ya have an Heat Press??? Works great!!! I prefer that over a heat gun... Ya get an even heat distribution & I usually Heat Press 1 side at a time (Be sure garment is dry to the touch before pressing...Otherwise it'll bleed through to the other side) hope this helps... -HotAir-

Hi Tim,

You may want to put the shirt on a board to paint it so the paint doesn't go thru to the other side. That was one of the first mistakes I made when painting shirts! Just a suggestion.....
