Our first grandchild.....Born 06-23-08......11lb-13oz.......Kaylyn Layne Elizabeth.

Mother and Daughter are doing fine and were released from the hospital today......Let the Spoiling begin.....hehhehe.

The only wish I made was for a heathly baby and that momma would come thru the natural birthing process without any complications......my wish was granted.

Congrats air_fx! Its great being a Grandpa ya can spoil them and then send them back home! WwHheeeee! I have 7 and that includes 2 that are Step Grand Daughters! Kaylyn Layne Elizabeth is a beautiful name! I have a daughter named Elizabeth Jayne and she goes by Betsy! How many children do you have to create more little people? I still have 2 yet that haven't started one is married and the other just graduated from high school! Well Congrats again! Live long & enjoy them little buggers because they are a real trip!

We have 2 daughters.....the oldest is 25 and the youngest is 20 yrs old and the new baby is hers.....the oldest got married last year and the youngest hasn't got married yet but they are workin on that....specially now.

Thanks for everyones well wishes.....I got to go see the grandbaby yesterday for the first time and let me tell ya, she is a precious gem.....i'm quite the proud Grandpa....and so is Grandma.

My son & his mate are not married yet either they gave us our latest grand child he just turned 1! Becky is older than Robb by 10 years and the doc said if you are going to have any more children you need to do it now and they did.

At my work I deal with low birthweight babies due to drugs, alcohol, and just plain poor SES. Your grand-daughter is a VERY healthy baby. You are so blessed to have a healthy and happy family! May many more come!

My wife was telling me that our granddaughter was the largest baby in the hospital nursery......At almost 8lbs she was the heavy weight, as most were in the 5lb range with a couple of premees in the 2lb range.....You are correct....We are blessed.
