Just good ole Laquer thinner, Works for Me. i Buy 5 gallons at a time of the cheap stuff ( gunwash thinner ) about 20 bucks a can . Its still Highly Flammable though so Use with Caution.

Also Before You use it the Next time Rinse the pot out & run a lil bit through the gun with the reducer You use for Your next Project, it will eliminate any contaminents getting into the paint before You Spray, Best of Luck .

I have found this tip to be very helpful....Thanks Cowboy!
Most times I also start the new project with a tad of reducer in the gun to eyeball my spray pattern.....I just have to remember to get a good paint flow going before I hit the surface....heehee...

All is well that ends well with the final clear coat! Take cowboys advice and it should end well! By the way that paint gun should not need to be taken apart other than the nozzle cap if it has been taken care of properly!
